work-in-progress

My most recent work, currently untitled,  builds upon American sculptor Sharon Loper’s idea that art is transitory. With performer Leslie Kraus, we explore the rewilding or reclaiming of one woman back into nature. We see this character physically detach herself from domesticity, move with increasing abandon, collect things, pause and wander through the woods and into nature. We sense the feeling of loss of oneself as we watch her slowly dissolve and disappear into the lush and towering landscape.
